Former American Football Wide Receiver

Stevonne Smith, Sr., (Steve Smith) is a former wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League. He grew up in in Los Angeles, CA and has excelled both on and off the football field.  Steve was drafted by the Carolina Panthers in the third round of the 2001 NFL Draft after playing college football for the University of Utah.  Smith, a five-time Pro Bowl selection and three-time All-Pro, lead the league in catches, receiving yards, and touchdowns in 2005. In 2011 he became the 35th player in NFL history to amass 10,000 receiving yards. Steve spent his entire career with the Panthers until signing with the Baltimore Ravens in March 2014.

Off the field, giving back to the community has always been important to Steve and his wife, Angie. Together they began the Steve Smith Family Foundation (SSFF), which is  dedicated to providing hope to those in need and champions the cause of the voiceless and fearful, envisioning an end to domestic violence and a better quality of life for all. Born out of his own childhood experiences and struggles, Steve has shown both leadership and commitment to homeless, poor, and disadvantaged communities and individuals in America.  He has kept his faith as the foundation upon which he has overcome the obstacles in life.
